a story that resonates with every individual who has ever
faced a challenge and refused to be defined by it.
My Journey
I walked the path, I know the way
Many of you may think I must be a “golden boy” with a perfect background working as a career coach, In fact, the truth may surprise you.
I failed my public exam in high school and entered into an associate degree program. Even though I made my way back to university, I did not graduate with flying colors, with a CGPA of 3.05 only. Upon graduation, I applied to over 100 companies without a single offer, at first.
However, my “flawed” background turned into my motivation to drill down every detail that could guarantee me some offers. After many hours invested, I realized one important point-interviewers do not merely judge you by your skill sets, but more importantly, WHO YOU ARE. The same applies to prestigious jobs, including Management and Graduate Trainees at international firms.
Rather than practicing question booklets, I used my own ways and morphed myself to become their perfect match.
In the end, the results proved me right. With this "trick on my sleeve”, I earned myself 9 Management Trainee and Graduate Trainee offers.
What I can tell you is there is no such thing as a "flawed" background. It's fine if your CV is not the most perfect to HR, as long as you can clearly position yourself with a competitive edge. Here at MT2.0, we don't force you to fit in somebody else’s shoes, but make you outshine like nobody with your true character. I am not your typical hold-your-hand and feed-to-your-mouth kind of coach, my mission is to help you find out who you are, what you are passionate about and make that into your own competitive edge.
My Professional Path
My career has been a thrilling ride across various sectors and roles, including a Chinese bank covering Real Estate, US Private Equity, and Energy, to a US Bank's Digital Banking division, then to a Listed Real Estate Developer specializing in Asset Management.
I took these experiences and channeled them into my current roles - as a Corporate Coverage Banker and transaction Banking Product Manager in the largest EU Bank, and as the Founder and Executive Coach of MT2.0, where I guide individuals across the Banking, Real Estate, Big4 & Consulting, and FMCG sectors.
